Job Description
Volunteer firefighters are responsible for all fire suppression activities including structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, carbon monoxide alarms, and hazardous materials incidents. New members complete one year probation with mandatory basic training at the Nassau County Fire Service Academy and department training.
Requirements: Age 18-55, resident of Franklin Square & Munson Fire District, pass department physical exam, maintain alarm and training attendance percentage
