Job Description
Eastchester Firefighters respond to emergency situations and protect the public. Responsibilities include fire fighting and prevention, salvage, and rescue operations, routine maintenance and custodial work. Requires completion of a 17-week fire academy program and civil service examination.
Requirements: US Citizenship, High School Diploma (at time of appointment), Valid NY State Driver's License (at time of appointment), Minimum age 18, Westchester County residency (30 days prior to exam), NY State residency
Salary: Starting Salary $60,709.71 (2024) to 6th Year $108,632.89 (2024)
