Job Description
The Town of Winterville is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the full-time position of Assistant Fire Chief. This role performs difficult professional, administrative, and technical protective service work, directing the daily activities of career and volunteer Firefighters/EMTs. The Assistant Fire Chief works under the general supervision of the Fire Chief to ensure operational readiness, maintain facilities and apparatus, and provide technical expertise during complex emergency operations.
Requirements: N.C. Fire and Rescue Commission certification, supervisory experience, technical knowledge of firefighting operations, EMS, hazardous materials, fire inspection/investigation
Salary: $76,930 – $115,390 (Dependent on Qualifications)
