Job Description
The City of Brevard is seeking a dedicated Fire Engineer to join our Fire Department. This is a full-time position working rotating 24-hour shifts. Nestled in the heart of Western North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, Brevard offers the chance to serve a close-knit community while advancing your career in the fire service. This position participates in the operations of fire suppression, rescue and incident response, and operations at the fire station. The Fire Engineer takes part in incident response—including emergency medical service, operation of fire apparatus, firefighting, and the maintenance of equipment and facilities—as well as fire suppression and emergency response training.
Salary: $55,590.08 - $83,370.56 Annually
