Job Description
The Town of Aberdeen Fire Rescue Department is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill part-time positions of Firefighter/EMT. Interested applicants should possess the following requirements:
- NC Certification as a Firefighter I and II and/or NC Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician
- Valid NC Class B Driver's License and clean driving record
- High School Graduate or GED
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical, background investigation, motor vehicle records check, and drug screen
The successful candidate will be assigned to work a rotating shift that will entail day and night work and will work in a hazardous environment with the potential of bodily injury. Hiring salary based on experience and qualifications with no benefits. Applications accepted until positions filled.
