Job Description
Performs general duty firefighting work in preventing, combating, and extinguishing fires, and transporting advanced life support emergency medical service functions. Entry-level position; lateral entry considered with 4+ years of Firefighter/Paramedic experience.
Requirements: High School diploma or GED, Missouri licensed EMT-B (EMT-P preferred), Missouri Driver's license, Firefighter I & II certification, Haz-Mat Awareness and Operations level certification, CPAT and FSEE passing certificate within last 18 months (waived for experienced candidates), pass physical, drug screen, and background check
Salary: A multi-step pay program starting at $54,022.53 annually, with annual COLA increases
