PROCTOR FIRE DEPARTMENT JOB OPENING: Fire Fighter/First Responder

The Proctor Fire Department is now accepting applications for the position of Fire Fighter / First Responder. This is a rewarding opportunity to serve your community, develop life-saving skills, and become part of a dedicated team of first responders.

BENEFITS

Full Training Provided – All required training is provided by the department, including Firefighter I & II certification and EMR or EMT training

Retirement Program – $3,800 per year of service with at least 5 years of acceptable service credits

Call Pay Compensation – $34.10 per call, with potential earnings of up to approximately $18,000 per year based on participation

Hands-on emergency response experience serving the Proctor community

Ongoing skills development and certifications in fire suppression, rescue, and medical response

Protective equipment and safety gear provided by the department

Eligibility for additional training opportunities and leadership roles within the department

REQUIREMENTS:

-Be more than eighteen (18) years of age.

-Be in good physical and mental health and eligible to perform the duties responsible of the position.

-Hold a valid Minnesota driver's license.
