Job Description
Part-time firefighter position with GTMESA generally scheduled 36 hours per week on average (48-hour shift one week, 24-hour shift the next). Requires Michigan Firefighter I/II, HazMat Operations, EVOC certifications and Michigan EMT-B license. Must live within reasonable driving distance of the GTMESA district.
Requirements: Age 18+, High School Diploma or equivalent, Michigan Firefighter I/II Certification, HazMat Operations Level Certification, EVOC Certification, Michigan EMT-B License, clear driving record (0-4 points), live within reasonable driving distance of GTMESA district, pass physical ability test and medical evaluation, pass drug screen
