Firefighter (Part-Time)

Part-time firefighter position with GTMESA, generally scheduled 36 hours per week on average (48-hour shift one week followed by 24-hour shift the next). Must live within reasonable driving distance of GTMESA district (East Bay Charter Township, Acme Township, Charter Township of Garfield, or greater Grand Traverse County area). Limited benefits provided.

Requirements: Michigan Firefighter I/II Certification, HazMat Operations Level Certification, EVOC Certification, Michigan EMT-B License, minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, clear driving record (0-4 points), pass physical ability test and medical evaluation, pass drug screen, live within reasonable driving distance of district, ability to follow directions and work as team member
