NOTICE CITY OF ALLEN PARK FULL-TIME PARAMEDIC The City of Allen Park is now accepting applications to establish an eligibility roster for employment opportunities for the position of a full-time Paramedic.

ANNUAL BASE COMPENSATION EFFECTIVE 4/29/2025 Paramedic: $57597.81 (effective 7/1/25 $58749.77 base wages) Paramedics are required to obtain Firefighter I & II in the earliest academy opening, funded by the City.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must (upon submission of application): Be at least eighteen (18) years old, a high school graduate, or possess a GED equivalent. Be a citizen of the United States. Have a valid Michigan driver's license or chauffeur's license. Possess a current State of Michigan Paramedic License Possess current ACLS and BLS cards by time of hire. Certification of written exam results from Current Conference of Western Wayne, EMPCO, or other industry recognized testing entity. Highschool diploma or GED. Submit to and pass an oral board interview. Submit to and pass a background and driving record check Submit to and pass a psychiatric evaluation, medical examination, and drug screen
