Job Description
The Town of Newport is accepting resumes / applications for diem paramedic positions. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals who possess the ability to adapt to multiple emergency and administrative duties. The positions are to provide adequate staffing for our new Newport Fire Ambulance Service which will become active once adequate personnel are hired. Consideration shall be extended to applicants currently enrolled in a paramedic program, or who are EMT Advanced. Applicants will also work in the Fire service with preference given for certifications in Firefighter 1 & 2.
