Job Description
Per-Diem Firefighter position with the Monterey Fire Department. Shifts 0600-1800 scheduled on weekends and various weekdays as needed. Responsibilities include fire suppression, fire prevention, emergency medical services, and equipment maintenance. Base pay $26/hour with $5/hour bonus for completing minimum 1 paid/call night shift per week.
Requirements: 18 years or older, valid motor vehicle license, firefighting experience, Firefighter I/II preferred, CPR certification, EMS experience preferred, ability to drive and pump fire apparatus, Massachusetts First Responder Certification
Salary: $26/hour to $31/hour
