Firefighter/Paramedic

The town of Wayland Fire Department seeks motived candidates to join our team as a Firefighter/Paramedic. This full-time position is responsible for fire suppression, fire prevention & education, advanced life support emergency medical care, rescue operations, and other non-emergency duties. The schedule of work is rotating 24-hour shifts that result in an average 42-hour workweek over an eight-week cycle. The Wayland Fire Department offers additional compensation for education, as well as paid vacation, personal, sick time and overtime opportunities. Must have a HS Diploma, EMT-Paramedic license, and a valid driver's license at time of hire. Full Salary Range: $82,538 to $89,515 (including EMT-P stipend). Wayland FD provides additional compensation for education and certifications, vacation, sick & personal leave and a generous benefits package.
