Job Description
The North Andover Fire Department is offering an entrance exam in November 2026. The exam is the first step in the process to become a North Andover Firefighter.
The process includes but not limited to:
- Town exam (general knowledge)
- Extensive Background Check
- Interview Panel
- Medical Physical (general health, cardiac, drug testing, PFT, etc)
- Psychological Exam
- PAT Exam
When/If you are hired you will be required to attend and graduate the Massachusetts Fire Academy.
North Andover Fire Department Recruitment Night is scheduled for October 15, 2026 (2 Sessions) at 5:30pm-6:30pm and 7pm-8pm at 795 Chickering Road, North Andover MA. This is an informational night and not required to take the exam.
Requirements: Massachusetts Fire Academy graduation upon hire
