Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Fire Captain or higher-ranking officer, the Fire Engineer is responsible for ensuring assigned apparatus, equipment and facilities are maintained in appropriate readiness to respond to life-saving emergency calls. Operates firefighting and rescue apparatus safely and efficiently, regulates water pressure, checks apparatus condition, and performs routine maintenance. May also perform fire prevention, public education, and facility duties.
Requirements: Fire apparatus operator certification, knowledge of firefighting equipment operation and maintenance
Salary: $26.00 - $26.23 Hourly
