Cadet Firefighter

The Lake Jericho Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department accepts applications for Cadet Firefighters on a year-round basis. Our department will accept applications of interested candidates from those who reside in the designated areas who wish to volunteer in support of our mission which is to provide fire prevention-education, fire suppression and emergency services response to our community. Periods for application review, interviewing, acceptance and denials are typically held quarterly throughout the year. Cadet Firefighters receive all firefighting, rescue and emergency medical training opportunities sponsored by the department free of charge.

Requirements: 15 years of age or older, U.S. citizen, valid Kentucky driver's license, good moral character with no criminal or felony convictions, no residency requirement for cadet positions
