Job Description
Assists the Fire Chief in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating all activities and programs of the Nicholasville Fire Department to provide continuous fire safety (including suppression, inspection and prevention). Assumes responsibility for the department in the absence of the Fire Chief.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, Ten years as Kentucky Basic 2 Firefighter, Three years at rank of Battalion Chief or higher in career fire department
Salary: Salary rate will be determined by the current Salary Scale in place
