Job Description
Brown Township Fire & Rescue accepts applications at anytime to compile a hiring list for future openings or for PRN/Reserve positions. Applications will be kept on file for one year.
Career firefighter spots are 1977 PERF spots and subject to their age requirements of at least 18 but less than 40 years of age at time of appointment. Career spots work 24/48 schedule and include employer-sponsored health insurance including dental/vision, PTO including holidays and vacation. Career firefighters receive one Kelly Day every 3 months.
Fill out application completely and attach ALL requested documents. Any incomplete applications will be discarded without further consideration. The top of the application lists it as a "full-time" application however there is a box within the application to check if you are only interested in a part-time position.
Requirements: Firefighter I/II, EMT-Paramedic certification, age 18-40 for career positions
