Part Time Firefighter

Firefighters are employed on a part time basis and are limited to the amount of hours they can work in a 28 day work cycle. The district currently offers two work schedules to help keep companies working with the same personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
- Applicant must be 18 years old
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED Equivalency Diploma
- Valid driver's license
- Basic Operation Firefighter Certification
- Emergency Medical Technician- Basic
- Work a minimum of 96 hours a month
- Passing of a medical and physical evaluation provided by the fire district

Employment Process:

- Interview
- Conditional offer
- Passing of a medical and physical evaluation provided by the fire district
- 3 Day Orientation
