Job Description
Firefighter position with the Monmouth Fire Department. Candidates must pass physical agility test, written exam, background investigation, oral interview, medical examination, drug screen, and psychological/polygraph examinations. Starting salary $51,818; increases to $62,871+ after one-year probation.
Requirements: Minimum 21 years old, under 35 years old (with possible exemptions), U.S. citizen, high school/GED diploma, valid driver's license, 20-mile residency requirement after probation, CPAT certification exempt from agility test if obtained within 12 months prior
Salary: $51,818 base pay plus generous benefit package. $62,871+ base pay after a one-year probation.
