Job Description
Full-time Firefighter/Paramedic position with Minooka Fire Protection District. Responds to emergency medical service, fire suppression, specialized rescue, hazardous materials and water rescue out of two fire stations. Must possess Illinois State Fire Marshal Certified Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter certification with EMT-B License at time of application, and Licensed Paramedic at conditional offer.
Requirements: Age 21-35 (with exceptions per state statute), U.S. Citizen, valid driver's license, High School Diploma or GED, no felony convictions, Illinois State Fire Marshal Certified Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter with EMT-B License, Licensed Paramedic at conditional offer, valid CPAT within 12 months of conditional offer
Salary: 2026 starting Salary: $75,651
