Job Description
Full-time Firefighter/Paramedic position with the Skokie Fire Department. Candidates must pass a written examination, CPAT certification, and personal history statement. Position requires Illinois Department of Public Health Paramedic license or National Registry Paramedic certification.
Requirements: Age 20-35 (with exemptions), high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license, ability to read/speak/write English, correctable vision to 20/20, 60 college semester hours OR Paramedic certification OR Firefighter II certification OR 2 years active military service, Illinois Paramedic license or National Registry certification, CPAT certification (completed within 1 year of hire), no tobacco use, establish residency within 12 months in specified counties
