Job Description
Entry-level Firefighter/Paramedic position with the Morton Grove Fire Department. Candidates must register with Public Safety Testing and pass the written firefighter exam and CPAT. Position requires Illinois State EMT-Paramedic certification or willingness to obtain it.
Requirements: Age 20-34 (must be 21 at hire), High School Diploma/GED, Valid Driver's License, Legal eligibility to work in US, LEOFF II vision standards, Written exam and CPAT required, Personal History Statement within 7 days of passing exam. Preference points available for: Veteran status (5 pts), Educational degrees (4 pts max), Paramedic certification (5 pts), OSFM Basic Operations (3 pts), Trade experience 2+ years (2 pts)
