Firefighter

Idaho Falls Fire Department is recruiting firefighters for their recruit academy program. All firefighters are cross-trained as EMTs or paramedics and hold additional credentials for specialty teams including swift water rescue, search and rescue, hazardous materials, and all-hazards incident management. Candidates must pass a written exam, physical agility test (Combat Challenge completed in under 7 minutes plus 75-foot ladder climb), and interviews.

Requirements: At least 18 years of age by test date, High School Diploma or equivalent, valid Driver's License, must pass medical examination and background check
