Job Description
Entry-level firefighter position requiring completion of a 34-week recruit training program. Responsibilities include fire operations, emergency medical care, rescue procedures, hazardous materials awareness, and operation of fire apparatus. Starting salary $63,864 per year (subject to change per collective bargaining agreement).
Requirements: 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, valid Hawaii State Driver's License (Type 3), sound moral character and integrity, able to pass physical ability test, medical evaluation, and background check
