Job Description
Mitchell County Fire-Rescue has 22 stations throughout the County. We have 70 citizen volunteers and 11 inmate firefighters. Mitchell County Fire responds to over 100 calls per month for medical, brush fires, house fires, vehicle accidents, rescue, etc. We train locals and certify new volunteers for certification through the state.
