Job Description
Paramedic position (non-firefighter pathway) with St. Petersburg Fire Rescue. Paramedics work 12-hour daytime shifts, are integrated with dual-cert personnel, and have opportunity to be sponsored through Fire Academy after one year of service. Candidates must possess Florida Paramedic Certificate and meet tobacco-free requirement.
Requirements: Paramedic Certificate (State of Florida or National Registry), high school diploma/GED, valid Florida Driver License, age 18+, tobacco-free for 1 year prior and ongoing
Salary: Hourly $26.40 - $42.10 (FY26 based on experience steps 1-10)
