Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the Town of Vernon Fire Department. No experience necessary. Members meet weekly on Mondays 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM for training, equipment maintenance, and meetings. Comprehensive training program provided including introductory training and basic firefighting training.
Requirements: Age 14-70 (junior members 14-17 have limited interior firefighting duties), physical and police background check, Firefighter I certification (120 hours), EMT certification optional (120 hours)
