Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the Broad Brook Fire Department serving East Windsor. Must be at least 18 years old (or 14-17 for Junior Firefighter program). Includes incentive plan based on emergency and training attendance. All equipment, safety gear, and first-year training provided at no cost.
Requirements: Age 18+ (14-17 for Junior Firefighter), reside within response area or reasonable distance to firehouse, pass physical exam, pass Town of East Windsor and State of Connecticut criminal background checks, complete mandatory first-year training including Blood/Airborne Pathogen training, HazMat Awareness, and Firefighter 1 certification
