Job Description
Volunteer firefighter position with the Town of Vernon Fire Department. Membership ranges from age 14 to 70, with junior members (14-17) having limited interior structural firefighting duties but receiving extensive training. No prior experience necessary. Training includes 2-night introductory program and 12+ nights of basic firefighting training, with optional additional certifications.
Requirements: Age 14-70, physical examination, police background check, desire to help and willingness to learn
