Job Description
Train and learn pre-hospital assessment and treatment to stabilize patients and prevent further injury. Learn skills necessary to report accurately and provide rapid transport. Formal training is available that leads to certification as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician).
Requirements: Age 18 or older, CT motor vehicle driver's license with no points, reside within Mohegan Fire Company response district or within 5 miles of fire station, desire to become active CT certified EMT, pass fire company interview and background investigation, medical/physical clearance, complete minimum one year probationary period, obtain CT EMT certification
