Volunteer Firefighter

Volunteer firefighter positions with the Enfield Fire Department. Volunteers serve as the vital foundation of the department and can work part-time paid shifts. Benefits include paid training, protective gear, property tax abatement, life insurance, and eligibility for pension program.

Requirements: Resident of Enfield or within 2-mile radius of either station, at least 18 years old, high school diploma or GED, pass medical physical and drug screening, pass background check and fingerprinting
