Job Description
Firefighter Trainee position for candidates without foundational credentials. Trainees join the department and complete fire academy training, then are promoted to Firefighter position upon successful completion. Requires performing structure fire suppression, wildland fire response, technical rescue, emergency medical care, and backcountry rescue in mountain terrain.
Requirements: 18 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent, Colorado Class R Driver's License or CDL, ability to pass background check, physical agility test (CPAT), and medical examination
