Volunteer Firefighter

Hot Sulphur Springs-Parshall Fire Protection District is recruiting volunteer firefighters. The department is 100% volunteer and responds to structure fires, automobile collisions, hazardous materials incidents, wildland fires, fire alarms, medical assists, and public assistance calls. Training provided with no experience necessary.

Requirements: Must live in or within 15 minutes of Hot Sulphur Springs-Parshall Fire Protection District stations, willing to commit one weekend per month (Friday 17:00 to Sunday 17:00), able to attend training on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays monthly, Colorado Wildland certification (S-130/190) within 4 months, Colorado Hazmat Awareness and Operations within 1st year, Colorado State Firefighter 1 within 2 years, Colorado State Firefighter 2 within 3 years. Veterans encouraged to apply.
