Director of Fire & Life Safety (Fire Chief)

This executive management, at-will position is under general direction of the City Manager and is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and overseeing the activities and operations of the Fire Department including: Administrative and Special Services, Fire and Life Safety Services / Loss Prevention, and Emergency Operations. Additional responsibilities include: performing difficult and responsible administrative work in connection with carrying out City and departmental goals, objectives and priorities; coordinating assigned activities with other departments and outside agencies; and performing other related responsibilities as required.

Requirements: Fire department management experience, administrative leadership

Salary: $194,935.36 - $254,447.54 Annually
