Job Description
Entry-level firefighter position with Santa Barbara City Fire Department. Upon successful completion of a 10-week Firefighter Academy, salary increases to $93,640 - $113,821 annually. Position includes incentive pay opportunities for CA EMT-D certification, State Firefighter 1 and 2 certifications, and specialized training.
Requirements: Must meet probationary period of one year, pass background investigation, Department of Justice and FBI clearance, medical exam, psychological evaluation, and DOT drug screening. Proof of citizenship or legal right to work required on first day of employment.
Salary: Firefighter Entry Level: $84,276 - $102,438 Annually
