Job Description
The North County Fire Protection District seeks trained Reserve Firefighters to support full-time suppression staff during emergencies. Reserve Firefighters receive in-house paid training and may be promoted to full-time positions. All applicants must complete a comprehensive hiring process including written test, physical abilities test (CPAT), background investigation, and oral interview.
Requirements: Age 18+, current National Registry EMT or Paramedic Card, current CPAT Card, valid California Class C driver's license, high school diploma or GED, resident of Tri-County area within 30 minutes of a fire station, Firefighter I Academy certification
