Job Description
Entry-level firefighter position with the Santa Barbara City Fire Department. Position includes advancement to full Firefighter status upon successful completion of 10-week Firefighter Academy. Incentive pay available for certifications including CA EMT-D, State Firefighter 1 & 2, Company Officer courses, Water Rescue Team, and Urban Search and Rescue (USAR).
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, pass background check, DOJ/FBI clearance, medical exam, psychological evaluation, polygraph test, drug screening
Salary: Firefighter Entry Level: $84,276 - $102,438 Annually
