Job Description
The Paramedic I/II position provides advanced emergency medical services and rescue response in a fast-paced, high-risk environment under general supervision. Assigned to a 48-hour on/96-hour off schedule, incumbents work closely with a partner to deliver Basic and Advanced Life Support care in accordance with California State and ICEMA protocols. This role responds to a wide variety of emergencies, including medical incidents, traffic collisions, fire ground operations, and backcountry rescues requiring travel by foot, vehicle, or helicopter.
