Job Description
Volunteer Firefighter position with Ponderosa Fire District. Participants become part of the on-duty crew and engage in emergency response, training, public education, and physical fitness. Minimum 40 hours per month required (10-hour shifts), with option for 24-hour shifts if qualified. No prior experience required; all necessary training provided.
Requirements: Age 18+, High school diploma or GED, Valid driver's license, Acceptable driving record, Background check clearance, One of: Firefighter I&II Certification, EMT, or S-130/190 certification
