Junior Member Volunteer Firefighter

Complete and submit (or return) the Chugiak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, Inc. "New Member Application" which can be obtained in a couple different ways:

Fill out and submit your application online. Please ensure that you dedicate enough time to fully complete the application process in one sitting.

Download a PDF version of the application to print out and complete by hand. All completed paper applications will need to physically dropped off at Station 35.

Call the station at 907-694-2010 to arrange pick up of a physical application to complete by hand. Drop off the completed paper applications at Station 35.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Currently, applications are reviewed monthly. Applicants will be evaluated and notified after the monthly Executive Board Meetings.

All Applicants *MUST* include:
- A copy of your driving record (can be obtained at any DMV for a small fee)
- Valid driver's license (make a copy for application and show original when turning in application)
- Criminal record (can be obtained at State Troopers office for a small fee) and any prior training records from previous departments

Drop off completed paper applications and attachments at Chugiak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, Inc. Station #35: 14080 Old Glenn Hwy Eagle River, AK 99577 during a Wednesday night meeting (commences at 7:00PM).

If changes occur to your contact phone number(s), you decide against joining, have application updates, or have moved from the Chugiak Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, Inc. service area, please contact the department as soon as possible at 907-694-2010.

After review of your application you will be contacted at which time you will be given further information on the status of your application.

Requirements: Minimum 14 years old, reside in Chugiak High School attendance area, written parental permission, maintain Anchorage School District minimum GPA for extracurricular activities
