Job Description
Part-time, paid-on-call Firefighter/EMT positions with Leland Township Fire and Rescue. Candidates required to work one 12-hour shift per month and respond to large-scale emergency callouts. Department provides training, uniforms, and personal protective equipment.
Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, reside within 15 miles of Leelanau County border, good driving/work/criminal history, physically and mentally fit, Michigan EMT license (or able to acquire within 2 years), Michigan Firefighter I and II (or able to acquire within 2 years), Hazardous Materials Operations level (or able to acquire within 2 years), EMT and Firefighter experience preferred
Salary: $20-$26.00/hr.
