Firefighter/EMT and Fire Trainee

The Firefighter/EMT performs customary duties related to fire protection, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response and emergency management. In addition to responding to fire and emergency medical incidents, the Firefighter/EMT responds to water and ice rescue emergencies. Individuals in this position perform routing maintenance of Department equipment and facilities. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in structural fire-fighting preferred
State of Alaska Firefighter I certification within 6 months of employment
State of Alaska EMT I certification within 6 months of employment
Valid Alaska Driver's
