Requirements

St. John?s Fire District is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter II. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver?s license.
All Firefighter II applicants shall possess ProBoard or IFSAC NFPA Firefighter II and Haz-Mat Ops, as well as current CPR certification. Applicants with EMT-Basic certification are strongly encouraged to apply.
As a condition of employment, all Firefighters will be required to obtain the Emergency Medical Technician ? Basic certification within one (1) year of being assigned to a shift if they have not already done so upon acceptance of employment.
