Hiring Certified Firefighter/Paramedic(preferred) or Firefighter/EMT B or Paramedic only
Starting salary for FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC, $60,500 + benefits
Starting salary for RECRUIT FIREFIGHTERS (PARAMEDIC only), $49,500 + benefits ? (Annual salary will increase to $60,500 after completing the required training) LATERAL STARTING PAY PROGRAM, up to $68,054 CURRENT PAY STRUCTURE 48/96-hour work schedule.
BENEFITS INCLUDE: Medical, dental, vision and life insurance provided by the city for the employee. Certification pay, FLSA, Paid Holidays, Vacation, Longevity pay, TMRS with a City match of 2:1
Applicants possessing one (1) of the following sets of credentials are eligible to apply: 1. Texas Commission on Fire Protection Certified Firefighter and National Registry or Texas Department of State Health Services Paramedic, or 2. National Registry and/or Texas Department of Health Paramedic certification.
