Volunteer Firefighter/EMT

The City of Southport is seeking dedicated and service-minded individuals to join the Fire Department as Volunteer Firefighter/EMTs. Members provide emergency medical services, fire suppression, rescue, and prevention efforts on assigned shifts. Work is performed under stressful and sometimes hazardous conditions, requiring high physical fitness, teamwork, and commitment to safety.
