Volunteer Firefighter

Join the Carencro Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter. Respond to emergency calls, attend training sessions, participate in public events, and assist with station maintenance. Minimum 10% call participation required annually. Pay-per-call compensation available after probationary period.

Requirements: Age 18+, resident of Carencro or immediate response district in Lafayette Parish, no prior experience necessary
