JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction, participates in all phases of emergency operations to protect life and property through fire suppression and fire prevention activities; provide advanced life support care and transportation of the sick and injured.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Minimum Requirements:

Work is performed traveling between various sites and working under challenging conditions. Incumbents may be exposed to severe physical hazards including extreme weather, intense heat, structural collapses, and potential electrocution. Duties may involve dealing with fire environments, working at heights or in confined spaces, and handling hazardous materials like chemicals and explosives. Frequently encounter noisy environments, slippery surfaces, and traffic hazards. Physical demands are high, requiring heavy lifting and carrying, up to 100 lbs, bending, climbing, and prolonged periods of standing or moving. Exposure to hazardous conditions such as fumes, dust, and infectious materials. Safety gear is mandatory, and adherence to strict safety regulations is essential. When not on emergency calls, you'll work in more controlled settings like the office or Fire station.
