Job Summary:
To provide security, firefighting and first responder services for Xanterra South Rim and supervise Firefighters and Security Officers.

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round
Pay: $24.85 per hour

Qualifications:
- Arizona State Structural Firefighter I/II (Ifsac or ProBoard), HazMat First Responder, and National Registry EMS (EMT-B or First Responder). Ability to meet all medical and physical agility requirements for firefighters in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association Standard 1001.
- Wildland (S-130/S-190) preferred, or complete within one year of hire.
- Firefighter I Instructor, Fire Officer I [or equivalent Officer class]. Certifications should be obtained within one year of promotion to Lead.
- ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 must be completed within six months of hire.
- ICS 300, 400 must be completed within eighteen months of hire
- Successfully complete Engineer/Operator certification within eighteen months of hire.
- Must have working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and internet browsers.
- 2 to 3 years of management experience in the fire service or a similar job field.
- Must possess or obtain a valid Arizona Driver’s License and comply with the company Driver Safety Program.
- Must be at least twenty-one years of age at time of hire.
- Excellent written, verbal, and problem solving skills; plus ability to interact effectively with guests, employees and other designated officials.
- Ability to calmly deal with medical, fire, security or safety situations.
- Working knowledge of radio communications.
