FIre Plans Examiner/ Inspector

The Fire Plans Examiner/Inspector possesses knowledge of Phoenix Regional Standard Operating Procedures: Volume II, International Fire Code, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Sprinkler Standards, Fire Alarm Standards and International Building Code.
This position reviews plans, inspect, approve, or reject all phases of public and private construction and improvements to assure compliance with plans, standards, specifications, codes and regulations, permits, and any special requirements. The Fire Plans Examiner/Inspector may recommend alternative solutions and issue correction notices or approvals as appropriate, compile reports, maintain logs and records, and perform related activities.
